| Ending of this Journal |

I should have done this a long time ago. I am ending this journal and making another. The user name is Polixenipapa (I like to make my friends suffer just a little when they have to spell things) and I will be posting things, erratically, from time to time. I'll leave it up for a few days, hope that others will see this entry and add the new one.

Havent posted in this thing for a very long time. I'm an RA now at school, which has been going alright but I feel sometimes that I might go crazy. But isnt that the life of an artist? I suppose the RA job has been keeping me in focus. I've been completing my projects early and my teachers have so far been happy with my work. I just hope that I can continue with the work that I am doing.
Ive been taking a letter press class which has been a great deal of fun. Being able to set my own type and then print it up seems much more fulfilling than doing something on the computer, or painting an image. I think that the process of placing the type, setting it up for the press, creating the ink color and then putting it on press, using your whole body to manually move the motor to create the movement to make your printed image/words...Zen moment. Our first project was 50 postcards and just standing at the press, pumping at the pedal and printing words that I wrote myself...beautiful. |

i am officially fucked for the semester i just know it, i am in teh middle of finishing up an analasys paper and i am totally going to fail it. She wants six pages...i am on my fifth page and just about finished. If i bullshit any more even the Higher Beings will be like Dude, your bullshitting now, knock it off. *groans* I hate art histoy with a passion. Goddess above I am an illustrator not a history major!! *cries* on top of that, i am skipping my illustration class (GASP! BLASPHEMY!) because I do not have my work done because of this fucking paper. CURSE YOU!!!!!!! But it will be the first time that i missed it so i think lee will forgive me. ill have my prject for him on Tuesday along with whatever the next assignment is. Double time bitches =D

and plug up your nostrils. was sittin in my bedroom carving at my print (yay for wood cutting) when my roomate comes in. Now at this point its a simple thing of ignoring one another, well i ignore her shes just in her own world. anyway. she comes in starts to clean her side up a little bit when i suddenly look up, and watch her wondering what the hell that smell is...
i can give you a guess where it is coming from and it aint me...
now i understand we are in art school and sometimes things get a little.......out of hand.....
but when someone can turn to you and say you smell like pickled BO....id think that would be a slap in the face dont you??? *rubs her forehead* yeah not fucking cool....especially when i wake up in teh morning and omg morning stinkiness WITH pickled BO....

Goddess how I hate it. Seems that we are going to have a house meeting soon but the thing is the girls feel that we dont need to have an RA present at the discussion. However it is school policy that an RA must be present at a meeting in order to mediate the situation. I'll have a talk with Micha later on tomorrow. I'd rather have her there because of the main fact of I do not want to get pounced on and I do not. most definitly, do not want a single person to take control of the whole meeting. *rubs her temples*
My roommate will more than likely squeal on us if we do have a meeting without an RA. Shes good friends with one that live down the street. I want to be an RA next year as well so me having a house meeting with no RA will look...well...bad. As of this instant I am going to talk to Micha first, tell her what is up. I am not going to lie to my RA cause thats stupid. Oh well. I want to be an RA so I have to take the responisbility with my own two hands. Woot, here we go...

Why did I have to get stuck with Satan's Whore as an art hisotry teacher????? Last week she gave us a "mini paper" that has to be 3-4 pages typed and we are analyzing a piece of art that we didnt go over in class based off of a packet that talks about Iconology and Iconography. Thats due on Tuesday, yes THIS tuesday.
after that mini paper we have a trip to the museum this weds where we have to analyze a piece of work. its due on the 30th of march but oh ho ho it gets even better. along with that paper that ill be doing over break i have to study for a test that i have to take THE DAY I GET BACK FROM BREAK. *pulls out her hair*
i hate teachers who think we are Yale Grad students when in reality we jsut want to do our art work. we care about history but seriously, why do this??
